It describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use practice.lawdrishti.com. By using the platform, you agree to the terms described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and firm name. This information is used solely to create and manage your account on Law Drishti Practice.
All case details, client information, hearing dates, billing records, and documents you enter into the platform are your data. We store this data securely to provide you the service.
We collect basic usage information such as pages visited, features used, and login times. This helps us improve the platform and fix issues faster.
Your data is used to operate Law Drishti Practice - showing your cases, hearings, clients, billing, and documents as you have entered them.
We may send you emails related to your account - such as trial expiry reminders, payment confirmations, and security alerts. We do not send promotional emails without your consent.
Aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us understand which features advocates use most and where the platform can be improved.
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
Your practice data is accessible only to you. We use JWT-based authentication and CSRF protection to ensure only authorised users can access your account.
Documents you upload are stored securely on Cloudinary with private access controls. Documents cannot be accessed by other users or third parties.
Your personal information and practice data are never sold to any third party, ever. Law Drishti Practice does not engage in data brokering or advertising.
We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform - including Cloudinary for document storage and Cashfree for payment processing. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and do not have access to your practice data.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from competent authorities in India.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. We do not delete your data if your subscription lapses - your data remains safe and accessible when you renew.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at contact@lawdrishti.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Encrypted backups of data are maintained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes. These backups are deleted on a rolling basis.
